Situated in the heart of rural Norfolk, the small town of Hingham is ideally placed for exploring the county's many sights and attractions. Hingham is a small conservation town well known for the grandeur of the Georgian architecture which surrounds its charming old market place.

In the 18th century, when the socialites of high society built houses and took residence in Hingham, it became fashionably known as "Little London". Hingham is also the birthplace of Abramham Lincolns forebears,  the carved town sign, that you can see in the picture above, commemorates the exodus in the early seventeenth century for the new world..
