We at Mongers have been restoring antique taps for 20 years. We believe that often old and antique taps are better than most new similar products and properly restored will work perfectly for many years.
We have been using Barber Wilson & Co. spares and accessories all of this time. They have been manufactuing traditional taps since 1898 and, to this day, produce a wide range of fittings to an exceptional standard.This being the case, we have descided to expand our range of Barber Wilson products to include their kitchen taps and showers. These are items that are hard to find as antique and vintage fittings, and, these days, are also difficult to source in an unlacquered and un-plated brass finish, which will tarnish naturally to a good antique-like patina. We now have a range of polished brass kitchen fittings on display in our Hingham showrooms and will shorly be adding a shower range as well. We can offer very knowegable advice for which items will compliment period style kitchens and bathrooms.
