Poppy, the Mongers dog, has been sitting on the pavement outside the yard for the last 12 years. She was a favourite with the inhabitants of Hingham, our customers and their children. Directions to Mongers were often accompanied by the instruction look for the place with the black & white dog outside.
She appeared on TV in The Reclaimers and Flog It. Her photograph is on the frontispiece of the book to accompany The Reclaimers series, as well as appearing in numerous magazines and newspapers.
Poppy passed away in February. We sincerely hope that everybody will still be able to find us!
